1. $MUNY is not an investment#
$MUNY is a utility token for payments and payouts. It gives no right to profits, dividends, interest or redemption, and Muny makes no promise about its value. Don't acquire $MUNY expecting a return.
2. Value and liquidity#
$MUNY may have no market, and any value it has may change sharply or fall to zero. Prices shown in Muny (for example in USD) are indicative and may not be achievable.
3. Token supply is administered by Muny#
Muny controls the issuance of $MUNY and may create additional tokens. Changes to supply or to the token's configuration could affect any value it has.
4. Irreversible transactions#
Blockchain transactions can't be cancelled or reversed. Sending to a wrong address, the wrong network or the wrong person usually means the tokens are lost.
5. Keys and recovery phrases#
If you lose the private key or recovery phrase of a self-custody wallet, or someone else obtains it, you can lose your tokens permanently. Muny cannot recover them.
6. Custodial (managed) wallets#
Tokens in managed business wallets depend on the security and continued operation of Muny and its custody provider. They are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit insurance or investor-compensation schemes.
7. Blockchain and technology#
Solana can suffer outages, congestion, bugs or attacks. Software, including Muny's, can have defects. These may delay transactions or cause loss.
8. Fraud and phishing#
Scammers may impersonate Muny or merchants. Muny will never ask for your recovery phrase. Check addresses, merchant names and amounts before paying.
9. Regulation#
Laws on digital assets are changing and differ by country. New rules could restrict or end the Services, or affect $MUNY, in some or all places.
10. Sponsored fees may end#
Free transactions depend on Muny paying network fees. Sponsorship can be limited or withdrawn; you would then need SOL to pay fees yourself.
11. Taxes#
You are responsible for any taxes on your transactions. Keep your own records.
12. Test mode#
On Solana devnet (test mode), tokens have no value and data may be reset.
